Public Service Information on Issue of curfew in Abia state.

The existing curfew in Aba and Umuahia municipalities commences at 8pm and ends at 6am. The curfew in Ohafia, Bende, Umunneochi and Arochukwu Local Government Areas is from 6pm to 6am for strategic reasons.

The State Commisisoner of Police has personally re-emphasized the curfew periods to her men in the field who are enforcing the curfew.

It is the same with Commander of 14th Brigade, Ohafia, who has also directed his men appropriately.

Kindly remain vigilant and do not spread fake news and rumors that can create the type of panic we had last night in Umuahia area.
