Sadio Mane reacts to Senegal’s 3-0 loss to EnglandP

Senegal forward, Sadio Mane, has reacted to his side’s FIFA World Cup 3-0 defeat to England on Sunday.

Mane, who was ruled out of the ongoing World Cup due to a knee injury, told his Senegal teammates he was ‘very proud’ of their run to the round of 16 at the tournament in Qatar.

Three goals from Jordan Henderson, Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka, gave the Three Lions the victory over Senegal.

Reacting, Mane, in a post on his Instagram account, wrote, “Dear brothers, the people are very proud of your journey and you have put the balm in the hearts of Senegalese and all supporters by defending the national flag with dignity.

“Continue learning and good luck. We will go in search of more trophies Inshallah.”

Meanwhile, England will now face France in the quarter-final stage.
