The Court of Appeal Sitting in Abuja has dismissed a Motion for Review filed by Darlington Nwokocha of the Labour Party seeking to review the judgment of the Court of Appeal, Owerri Division Sitting in Lagos, that declared Distinguished Senator Austin Akobundu as the duly elected Senator for Abia Central Senatorial District.

The Court awarded a fine of five (5) million naira against Darlington Nwokocha and his Counsel to be paid to Distinguished Senator Akobundu and the People’s Democratic Party.
