SEN. T.A ORJI INSPECTS HEALTH CENTRE AT UMURIAGA AND COMMISSIONS NEW SCHOOL BLOCK AT NCHARA OLOKO

Today, the Senator representing Abia Central, Sen. T.A Orji CON, inspected the health center at Umuriaga and also commissioned a newly-constructed Nchara Etoruo Community Primary School with state-of-the-art facilities.

After the inspection of the health center, which is 98% complete, the Executive Chairman of Ikwuano LGA, Chief Stephen Mpamugo appreciated the Senator for his efforts in making sure Ikwuano gets the good dividends of democracy. The council boss further said that “If you had taken this project to another local government, nobody will question you. But you have thought it wise to bring it to Ikwuano, for this, we say thank you, sir. I know that this will be the last inspection because the building is almost complete. The next time we shall gather here, it will be for commissioning. Once again sir, on behalf of the people of Ikwuano Local Government, we say a big thank you.

Afterward, HRH Eze Larry who is the chairman of the Oboro Traditional Rulers also thanked the Senator for his sterling records so far in the area of development in Ikwuano LGA. According to His Royal Highness, most of the best health centers in Ikwuano were constructed or attracted by Sen. T.A Orji. The king then encouraged the Senator to continue in his good works.

While reacting, Sen. T.A Orji described the people of Ikwuano as peace-loving and development-oriented. This is why he has concentrated his efforts on attracting standard projects that will stand the test of time in Ikwuano. He said, “As far as I am concerned, Ikwuano LGA will always be a priority to me, and it doesn’t matter whether I am in politics or not, I will continue my developmental projects all around so that the local government can advance.

From there, the Senator moved to Nchara Oloko for the commissioning of a new school block at Nchara Etoruo Community Primary School.

The member representing Ikwuano State Constituency, Hon. Stanley Nwabuisi, the Executive Chairman, Chief Stephen Mpamugo, HRH Eze Hart Agunegbe of Afa 2 Autonomous Community, and other community leaders were on the ground to receive him.

While speaking, the member representing Ikwuano State Constituency, Hon. Stanley Nwabuisi thanked the Senator for his works. He said, “We are very proud of you sir. It is not easy to remember an almost remote area like Nchara, talk more about building a school here. We have also not forgotten the fact that you had initially given us a transformer to power the electricity in this community. My earnest prayer for you is that God will grant you more strength and long life to do more of this.” He concluded.

The Executive Chairman, Chief Stephen Mpamugo reeled out the same appreciation message by the aforementioned leader. However, he added that “Looking at the school building, one would realize that it is a quality one. Historically, whenever you attract a project to Ikwuano LGA, it is always a standard one, this sends out a positive message that you carry the welfare of Ikwuano in mind. Therefore, on behalf of every stakeholder in Ikwuano, we say thank you. We pray that God will give you long life and good health to continue your good works.”

In his response, Sen. T.A Orji stated unequivocally that, “Right from time, I don’t joke with the people of Ikwuano because they have always been supportive of my administration. Whenever there is an opportunity to attract a project to Abia central, I always make sure that Ikwuano gets a better share of the dividends. I am encouraged by the warm reception and I will continue to do my best.

After this, Sen. T.A Orji officially opened the school building for use.
