Senator Monday Okpebholo has defeated Senator Adams Oshiomole’s adopted candidate Dennis Idahosa who was earlier announced as the winner of the primary that was declared inconclusive by APC NWC.

The Primary Election Results were declared by Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State who is the Chairman of the Edo APC Primary Election Committee

Monday Okpebholo polled 12,433 votes to defeat 11 other aspirants and he’s currently the senator representing Edo Central senatorial district.

Recall that Former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi has slammed Senator Adams Oshiomole for trying to impose a candidate against the wishes of the majority of APC members in Edo State.
