Seun Kuti Afrobeat singer, currently in police custody, has been handcuffed and taken to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, SCIID, in Panti for further investigation and possible detention.

CDA News Recalled that the Inspector-General of Police, IGP, Usman Alkali Baba, had ordered Kuti’s arrest following his altercation with a police officer on the 3rd Mainland Bridge last week.

He was captured on video assaulting a police officer in uniform.

Kuti had fulfilled his promise to cooperate fully with police investigations by visiting the Commissioner of Police in Lagos with his lawyers.
