The South East Young Leaders Consultative Forum, has condemned the attack and killing of Nigerian Army Personal at Obikabi in Abia State on 30th of May by 7.45 am.

The unfortunate incident which occured over persuasion of Sit at home order by IPOB, has been widely condemned.

SEYLCF in a statement by its National Secretary Miss Augustina Odor, commended the Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti for his proactive and place bounty of 25 million to help track the criminals also President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, For his support to the South East.

The statement made available to CDA News read in part:”It is indeed a paradox that at a time South East are facing various challenges of Insecurity and Hunger.

The President General of South East Young Leaders Consultative Forum ( SEYLCF) Ambassador Chinweuba Anyaragbu expressed deep sorrow over the catastrophe and urges tye security agencies to find those behind this disastrous act to face the full weight of the Law.

The outcome of the investigation would help the Nigerian Army to attain a more prudent, skillful, professional military-civilian engagements in their operations.

He further called for adequate compensation to the families of the slam soldiers .

On behalf of the National Executive of South East Young Leaders Consultative Forum ,we sympathize with the affected families, Abia State government for this very unfortunate tragedy”, the statement added.
