Tambuwal Imposes 24-hour Curfew On Sokoto Metropolis Over Protest

Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal on Saturday imposed a 24-hour curfew on the state metropolis.

This is as a result of a violent protest by youths who were demanding the release of two suspects arrested in connection with the killing of Deborah Samuel over alleged blasphemy.

On Friday,a 200 level female student of Sokoto State College of Education was killed by some muslim students over blasphemy.
