THE CANDIDATURE OF COL. AKOBUNDU (RTD) RECEIVES THE BLESSINGS OF NDI EZE ISIALA NGWA SOUTH LGA.
The candidature of a frontline Senatorial aspirant for Abia Central Senatorial District under the platform of Peoples Democracy Party, Col. Austin Akobundu Ltd, has received an outpour of blessings from the Isiala Ngwa South Council of Traditional Rulers led by Eze G.N. Nwankpa.
Addressing Ndi Eze Isiala Ngwa South at the Palace of Eze Nwankpa in Omoba as part of his consultation of critical stakeholders in Abia Central Senatorial Zone, Col. Akobundu noted that he knows the significance of according respect to the traditional institution hence the essence of the visit.
The immediate past National Organizing Secretary of the PDP assured that if elected as Senator for Abia Central Senatorial District, he will not disappoint Ndi Eze Isiala Ngwa South and the entire people of Abia Central adding that he will always call upon them for advice from time to time.
The former Nigerian Minister of State for Defense explained that as a trained ex-military Officer, discipline and accountability to his constituents will remain his watchword if allowed to represent Abia Central at the Senate come 2023 while appreciating the Traditional Rulers for their contributions to the maintenance of peace and in their various communities.
Contributing, the Executive Chairman of Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area, Comrade Ike Anyatonwu, and the Director-General, Akobundu SupportGroup Campaign Council, Pastor Emeka Inyama described Col. Akobundu as a man of international and national Figure.
He demanded prayers of Ndi Eze Isiala Ngwa South LGA for the success of the Senatorial ambition of Col. Akobundu.
