Mr. Ngozi Onwumere led Executive of Umuana Ndume lbeku in Umuahia North LGA has thanked the judiciary for being the last hope of the common man, by dismissing the suit filed by the incorporated Trustees of Fisher Educational Development Trust and Government College Umuahia over the alleged encroachment on their land by the Umuana Community.

It would be recalled that the High Court of Abia’ state presided over by His Lordship Hon, Justice U D Enwereji had on Monday the 28th of June 2024 in suit No Hu/144/2023 brought before it by the claimants (1 ) incorporated Trustees of Fisher Educational Development Trust, (2 ) Government College Umuahia against the Occupiers as first set of Defendants and Ngozi Onwumere, Emmanuel Otuka Meregini, Friday Ufomadu as the second set of Defendants, for themselves and representatives of Umuana Ndume Community and dismissed the suit and held that the parties to bear their costs.

The public is by this landmark judgement advised to take note and be guided accordingly
