With flare and utmost passion for continuous and positive change in Abia State, there’s need for someone with the right administrative skills and good understanding of good governance come 2023. A man who will have the political will and commitment to eradicate poverty, promote sustainable growth and development and accelerate the empowerment of women and youths so as to integrate Abia into the world economy.
Prof. Eleazar Uchenna Ikonne, among all others eyeing the Governorship seat of the state remains the best. This scholar has the right experience and understands the dynamics of change and can formulate responsive action to deliver a sustainable development to the benefit of all Abians. Prof. Ikonne also remains the only candidate that can work on the already established foundation for development by the present administration under Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu to fastrack development in Abia State.
Abians are known for their manufacturing skills in the fabrication of equipment and tools, garment, finished leather products, shoes, belts and bags. Under Prof. Ikonne, Abia youths will witness boost in empowerment which will enable them to explore the world economy with their talents.
For Prof. Uche Ikonne, extensive and efficient infrastructures in critical sectors shall be delivered in order to bring about effective functioning of the state economy. The promotion of local products and industries will also receive the necessary attention and boost. This will help facilitate our export diversification by allowing investors to invest in our products and materials which will open up new production possibilities.
Prof. Ikonne when elected the governor of the state, will demostrate a high level of quality leadership in managing the affairs of the state and provide adequate infrastructures. He will ensure the economic stability of the State because it is a key to fastrack growth and development of the state.
Finally, under Prof. Uchenna Ikonne there will be reorientation in driving an effort towards increasing the State Internally Generated Revenue (IGR). There will be a drastic review of the taxes leading to a total harmonisation of levies and dues authorized and collected by the state government. Let us support the call for Uche Ndi Abia so as to become prosperous as a State.
