The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji earlier today stormed the dedication ceremony of little Miss Flourish Chizaramekpere, daughter of Comrade & Mrs. Chidiebere Kanu one of the Aides to the Speaker.
While speaking at reception the Speaker thanked God for the wonderful gift and blessing of a bouncing baby girl God bestowed to the family, saying “children are gifts from God and I pray that the baby will continue to grow in divine wisdom and grace
Mr. Speaker who spoke very highly of Comrade Kanu described him as a very serious-minded person who relates well with his colleagues and faces his duties without getting involved in frivolities. He said the impressive turnout at the event confirmed his testimony about Kanu who is also popularly called “Presido” by his friends and colleagues.
Comrade Kanu thanked the Speaker for coming to celebrate with him and his family and described the Speaker as a leader who has always stood by the people especially in matters concerning the youths. “This is why you are loved by many.
He prayed to God to continue to bless the Speaker.
