The State Chairman National Youth Council of Nigeria, Engr Smith O. Sylvanus condole with the deceased family of late Comr Chima Uwaezoke.
Yesterday, The State Chairman National Youth Council of Nigeria, Engr Smith O. Sylvanus visited the family of the former NYCN Chairman late Comr Chima Uwaezoke to condole with them over the passing until Glory of a leader at his country home Umuiwenma Umuogele Amuda Isuochi, in Umunneochi LGA, Abia State.
Engr Smith who were in company of the Ministry Director of youth, Elder Temple Nwaosu, Southeast Vice President Comrd Smart Uwakwe, Former Council Chairman Amb Chidiebere Kanu amongst others expressed total regret over his demise in a critical time like this! Noting that the late Chima was an instrument to peaceful resolution to so many issues that came up during the insecurity challenges and his immense contribution in the creation of the first in Nigeria ministry of Youth Development in the state across Nigeria etc
He further assured the family of the council full support and participation in making sure the late leader gets state, Zonal and National befitting burial in honor of his services to the society at large and we deeply commiserate with his immediate family he left behind.
Afterwards, The State Chairman also visited the Executive Chairman of Umunneochi local government, Chief Ifeanyi Madu in his office to familiarise with him and equally solicit for his support to families of Chima Uwaezoke in ensuring the late Chima gets a befitting burial.
Chief Ifeanyi Madu while receiving them thanked the Chairman and everyone of his profiled entourage for coming and further explained that the late Chima Uwaezoke is a respected result oriented leader in the local Government and state at large where he has served as an instrument of peace.
Late Chima before his death established a link between the local government and foreign partners that has started yielding results for the benefit of the council and state large. He promised to ensure every necessary support from the local government to the family and he thanked the delegation for finding time to come in appreciation to the contributions of late Comrd commander Chima Uwaezoke in Youth development in the state.
They all prayed God to grant the entire Abia youths and the immediate families the fortitude to bear this irreparable lost as he find repose in the Lord.
The Abia North Zonal Chairman, Engr Ejike Eze, Umunneochi NYCN Coordinator, Rev Ibe Obasi were amongst others that visited the family.
