The state chairman National Youth Council of Nigeria Engr Smith O. Sylvanus storms Ikwuano local government on a One day Working Visit .

Ikwuano NYCN Coordinator Comr Chinweuba Anyaragbu received the state Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria Ambassador Smith Sylvanus for a one-day working visit with members of the state excos .

During the official visit Ambassador Smith paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ikwuano LGA Chief Stephen Mpamugo .

The Executive Chairman Chief Stephen Mpamugo expressed gratitude for such benevolence visitation by the state Chairman of NYCN stated that he has waited for such a day.

He further highlighted his programs and plans to help address the numerous challenges facing our youths and the need to explain the roles of the youth leaders in addressing the most especially insecurities confronting the peace of our communities and state at large and in resolving other related matters such as factions among our youths organizations, community youths within the council.

He promised to sponsor any youth empowerment and engagement programs reflecting on subsequent skill acquisition programs his administration has sponsored and more advising the youths of Ikwuano to acquire a skill as means for sustainable livelihood, which will drastically reduce unemployment, crime rate.

Ambassador Smith in his speeches thanked the Executive Chairman for his cooperation, support and inclusiveness among NYCN members and the youths x-raying his reasons for his visit as an occasion that will foster the community youth and heads of youth organization opportunity for interactions as a way of handling factions perpetuating the problems and confusion within the local government, inspect the youth house and to access it’s Youth developmental plans and programs while considering other means of empowering our youths in the local government.

He went further to inform the Executive Chairman on the State headquarters plans to lunch Abia youth Security Submit next month after which ushered the meeting and interactive section with the youths. In his advice, He reinstated that the youths should acquire a skill, get engaged with one business or skill to develop oneself and avoid complains of no job either with certificate or not, that having a skill will earn them more respect from the political glass.

He assured them of his determination to ensure everyone that is ready get a skill or those who need support will get support from the government as Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu is resolved to develop our youths as better means to empower them. He explained that the government has many other government programs that’s geared towards youths development and empowerment.

The highlight of the one day working visit was the presentation of an award to the state Chairman as the youth ambassador and the decoration of the Executive Chairman as Patron of NYCN youth of Ikwuano.

Hon.Obinna Agodi Leader of Ikwuano Legislative Council, led all the Conucilors ,to welcome the state chairman, Hon.Chidiebere Uzodinma Supervisor for Youth and Sports. SECLOG and Chief of Staff were among the council members present.
During the visitation Chief Stephen Mpamugo was given an award as the Patron of the Nigerian Youth in Ikwuano and Ambassador Smith also received award as Youth Ambassador.

Comr Austin Shell, NYCN Abia central Vice chairman, Engr Ejike Eze, NYCN Abia North Vice Chairman, Comr Prince Iroabueke, state assistant secretary were among the state executives that joined the chairman
