The state chairman National youth council of Nigeria Comrd Smith O. Sylvanus received the Newly Elected National Executive of Federation of Ngwa Students (FNS) in his office at Umuahia.
The President Elect Comr Victor Ugwuala who led his other Executive members to a familiarization and presentation visit to the Chairman thanking him for his support during the electoral period.
With deep regret and anger over the death of our Anthony Blessed Chinweotito a Native of Umuala in Isiala Ngwa North LGA and a student of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Imo state who was bluntly killed by his caretaker, we’ve come to seek your help for justice to be done because we cannot fold our hands and allow it go unjustified.
Also, we’re appealing for your continuous support in felicitating for our students welfare from the state government.
They further invited the chairman to their forthcoming inauguration ceremony promising to communicate him on the date.
Responding, The chairman welcomed while congratulating them over their victory advising them to embrace it as a call to serve the entire Ngwa students in all our tertiary institution.
He assured them the council total support in making sure Ngwa cultural values will be revived across our high institution, that Government will always consider the students welfare while charging them to leverage on the opportunities provided by the federal and state government on empowerment and developmental programs through their smartphones and several other means.
The chairman who earlier condemned the killing an innocent Abia youth expressed regret over his death assured them of council restless plans to liaise with his Imo state counterpart to get to the root of case assuring them that justice must prevail and nothing else.
He further promised to visit Abia students from time to time in their institution.
