The Election Petition Tribunal has declared the Abia state Deputy Speaker Rt.Hon.Austin Okezie of the Labour Party (LP) member representing Umuahia East State Constituency as the winner.

The tribunal dismissed the petition filed by Hon. Kelechi Nwakodo of the PDP and upheld the INEC declaration of Rt.Hon.Austin Okezie was the winner.
