The Honourable Commissioner for Establishment and Training, Honourable Chidiebere Uwagwu, today, played host to the NYCN Chairmen/Coordinators of Ikwuano, Umuahia North, and South respectively, in his office.
The visit had the trio Chairmen express their gratitude to God for the appointment of Honourable Chidiebere Uwagwu, who was hitherto The Public Relations Officer in the State before his emergence as a member of the Abia State Executive Council.
The Youth Council Leaders of Ikwuano/Umuahia extolled Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Ph.D. for finding one of their vibrant leaders in the Youth Council worthy to serve in his administration.
In his response, Honourable Uwagwu expressed joy for the timely visit that shows solidarity, while appreciating the Abia State Governor for allowing himself to be used by God to elevate him. He also acknowledged the goodwill of other spirited Abians that have given him the necessary support to succeed in the office while reeling out his plans and already established partnerships with Parastatals, Institutions, and Agencies to make his administration Youth-oriented while making the Empowerment of the Youths through various programs of his Ministry, as part of his goals in office.
Comrade Uwagwu further assured The Youth Council Leaders that his office is always open for fruitful ideas and more robust engagements to continue to promote Government policies and programs.
The trio LGA Chairman/ Coordinators assured the Honourable Commissioner of their unflinching support for the Abia State Government and pledged to continue to contribute their quota to promote the already established peaceful foundation that the State is presently enjoying.
The Chairmen/Coordinators in the person’s of Comrade Chinweuba David Anyaragbu – Ikwuano LGA, Comrade Chigozie Great Okeahialam – Umuahia North, and Comrade Emeka Nwaiwu – Umuahia South, gifted the Honourable Commissioner with items to encourage his administration and a group photograph and some refreshing moments were part of the highlights of the event.
