There’ll Be Catastrophic Consequences Over Seizure Of Nuclear Plant – Ukraine Warns Russia

Ukraine has warned of catastrophic consequences if anything happens to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

Ukraine accused Russian forces of stopping safety experts from visiting the nuclear plant.

The Zaporizhzhia power is Europe’s largest.

What will happen in the radius of 40-50 kilometers from the station, that’s absolutely not comparable even to Chernobyl or to Fukushima, Yevhenii Tsymbaliuk said.

Tsymbaliuk is Ukraine’s ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna.

Tsymbaliuk said Russia has been blocking all delegation of experts from the IAEA and the United Nations from visiting the station.

However,he,vowed that Ukraine will use all possible channels of diplomacy to bring IAEA and UN closer to conducting the mission.
