Borussia Dortmund chief, Sebastien Kehl has said he “wouldn’t be surprised” if Erling Haaland leaves in the summer with a decision on his future expected next week, reports UK Mirror.
Haaland’s £64m release clause comes into effect at the end of this season.
Manchester City are reportedly leading the race for the 21-year-old’s signature, as Pep Guardiola seeks to add a top striker following his failed pursuit of Harry Kane last summer.
Real Madrid have also been linked with Haaland, as an alternative to Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe.
Clarification expected next week,” Kehl told STAHLWERK Doppelpass on SPORT1 when quizzed on his future.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he moved on in the end.
Haaland has scored 85 times in 88 appearances for Dortmund.
