The Election Petition Tribunal has declared Hon. Engr. Boniface N. Isienyi of the Labour Party (LP) as the winner of the Abia State House of Assembly, Ikwuano Constituency election held on 18th March 2023.

The tribunal court, sitting at the Aguyi Ironsi Conference Center in Umuahia on 30th September 2023, delivered its judgment and ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to dismiss the petition filed by Hon. Stanley Nwabuisi of the PDP.

The tribunal, in its unanimous decision, upheld the INEC declaration of Hon. Boniface Isienyi as the winner.
