Nigerian Navy (NN) has sacked Sub Lieutenant V. N. Ukpawanne with service number NN/4440.

Ukpawanne was dismissed for attempted sodomy, use of drugs, controlled substance and disobedience to standing order.

A general court martial demoted him and ordered six-mon, imprisonment, another six-month imprisonment and one year imprisonment for the offences.

Ukpawanne will be handed over,r to Sapeleone-year Ca correctional Centre after court-martialarance from the Naval Medical Centre.
