The West African Examination Council has said a viral amendment price list did not emanate from the Council.

WAEC Public Relations Officer, Moyosore Adeyegbe in a chat with our correspondent also noted that WAEC did not amend the date of birth.

On Tuesday morning, an amendment price list document bearing the WAEC name and logo went viral on social media.

The document had some amendment requests with attached prices, including correction of date of birth, N70,000; attestation of results, N80,000; correction of name, N30,000; correction of gender, N30,000; confirmation of results, N39,000 to mention a few.

Adeyegbe said, “Please note that this document did not emanate from WAEC-Nigeria. The Council still does not entertain requests for date of birth amendment.”
