War: ‘He left a little baby’ – Biden laments as America’s Willy Cancel is killed while fighting alongside Ukraine

President of the United States of America, Joe Biden has expressed dismay at the news that an American, Willy Joseph Cancel was killed while fighting alongside Ukrainian forces.

Jen Psaki, White House press secretary, had earlier offered condolences to Cancel’s family while officially confirming his death.

Jen Psaki further cautioned Americans against traveling to Ukraine for any reason.

CNN reports that the American was killed Monday while fighting alongside Ukrainian forces. The 22-year-old was said to be working with a private military contracting company prior to his death.

Rebecca Cabrera, Cancel’s mother, told CNN that he was sent to Ukraine by the company and that he was being paid while he was fighting there.

And reacting to the death of the former US Marine, President Biden, said, “It is very sad. He left a little baby behind,” he told reporters at the White House while he was hosting a meeting.

Cancel’s mother added that when Russia invaded Ukraine, the company was searching for contractors to help Ukraine and Cancel agreed to go.
