A Ukrainian drone has destroyed two Russian patrol ships in the Black Sea amid the ongoing war between both nations.
This was disclosed by Ukraine’s Chief of General Staff, Valeriy Zaluzhniy.
Two Russian Raptor-class boats were destroyed at dawn today near Zmiinyi (Snake) Island,” Zaluzhniy was quoted by BBC as saying on Monday.
Meanwhile, unverified drone footage released by the Ukrainian military shows two ships being targeted by missiles from the air while on patrol in the Black Sea.
Russia, however, is yet to respond to the claim.
Recall that the war between Russia and Ukraine began in February.
Several casualties have since been recorded as a result of the war.
Russian President, Vladimir Putin, had ordered the invasion of Ukraine because of some political differences between both countries.
