WE ARE SET FOR FREE, FAIR AND CREDIBLE ELECTIONS – NAASS ELECTORAL CHAIRMAN

As National President; Nwazuo Remijius Storms Aba, Inaugurates Electoral Committee.

The National Association Of Abia State Students’ Worldwide, the umbrella body uniting Abia state Students’ across all the tertiary institutions in the world has on Sunday, 26th September, 2021 inaugurated it’s electoral committee with the mandate of ensuring a free, fair, and transparent elections that will usher in the new set of leaders for the Abia’s Apex Students’ Association.

Inaugurating the committee, the NAASS President; Comr. Nwazuo Remijius stated that he was careful in approving the nomination of all members that made up the committee, noting that he went for credibility, capacity, and experience while including classroom Students’ to avoid repetition of mistakes made in the past. Even as he warned against divisiveness and favouritism amongst the committee members.

Accepting the nomination on behalf of the committe, the chairman; Comr. Daniel Ukanwata thanked the president for putting up an electoral list of persons of proven character, while assuring Abia Students’ that the committee members will bring in their wealth of experience into bear in ensuring that the Apex Students’ Association in the state has a credible and transparent electoral process.

Also present at the meeting is the committee secretary; Comr. Idika Agwu Okpo , PRO, Comr. Prince Udensi, Screening officer; Comr. Chigbu Uchechukwu Godswill , Comr. Ihuoma Joshua Anayo , Comr. Anyalewechi Brighton, and Comr. Uche Chukwuebuka.
