Z​amfara outfit arrests suspects for supplying phone lines, sex drugs to bandits

Zamfara Government’s Anti-Thuggery Standing Committee has arrested three suspects for allegedly supplying SIM cards, drugs, illegal substances and sexual enhancers to bandits.

The Chairman, Bello Bakyasuwa, announced that the committee also arrested three other suspects for alleged phone snatching.

Bakyasuwa handed over the suspects to security agencies in Gusau, the capital, on Sunday.

He said on Saturday, during a night patrol, they intercepted a vehicle along Gusau-Magami road.

We reccovered 100 new SIM packs, Kurkura substances, snuff, sexual enhancers and drugs..

The state government has banned night movement in the areas the vehicle was heading to”, Bakyasuwa added.

The government last week named Haruna Isah as Secretary, Anti-Thuggery Standing Committee.
