ABIA PDP GUBER PRIMARIES HON. BARR. OJIGBO THANKS DELEGATES, URGES PARTY FAITHFUL TO REMAIN RESOLUTE

A former Commissioner for Environment and PDP chieftain in Abia State, Hon. Barr. Stanley Ojigbo has thanked PDP delegates for massively voting Professor Eleazar Uche Ikonne to fly the PDP gubernatorial flag at the 2023 general elections.

Hon. Barr. Ojigbo, who is the Secretary General of the Uche Ndi Abia Campaign Council spoke to the press at the Umuahia Township Stadium after the emergence of Professor Uche Ikonne at the gubernatorial primary election. He appreciated the delegates for conducting themselves in a very peaceful manner during the election and thanked the Uche Ndi Abia campaign team for their doggedness during their 17 LGAs consultations with the delegates.

The former Commissioner enjoined
all PDP aspirants to various elective offices that could not emerge as flag bearers and their supporters to sheath their swords and join hands with the party to chat a way forward. He said the party is one
and has reconciliation mechanism with which to handle her differences.

While congratulating Professor Ikonne on his emergence as the PDP gubernatorial candidate , Hon. Barr. Stanley Ojigbo commended Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for his leadership style that makes PDP a beautiful bride and saluted party leaders at all levels including the national, state and the local, the INEC officials and security agents for being part and parcel of the success of the primary elections in the State. Barr. Ojigbo assured Abians that Professor Ikonne has what it takes to sustain the developmental projects of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and place Abia on a steady and sustainable map of development with his well articulated manifestoe.
