ABIA SOUTH ZONE OF NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL OF NIGERIA HOSTED A MEGA ENTREPRENEURSHIP/SECURITY SUBMIT, MAY 25TH, 2021.

The State Chairman National Youth Council of Nigeria Engr Smith O. Sylvanus honoured the mega Entrepreneurship/Security Submit organized by Abia South Zone inline to compliment the efforts of the state Government and council in relating issues that concerns youth development, involvement and participation.

The Abia South Coordinators of NYCN boarded the need to raise the opium of deliberation among the stakeholders to the issues affecting particularly the youths to insecurities, involvement and development of our society.

Engr Smith who reflected on the theme acknowledged the need of our youths having a sustainable skill or another which will help in addressing at a reasonable height the security issues both creating of more employment opportunities.

He further noted that the youth leaders, stakeholders are to watch over their communities against external aggression through reporting any unforeseen activities and also ensure peace within the borders. Your lives should be an example to others for onward growth and orientation for other fellow youths he added”.

In separate Keynote Speeches, Rt. Hon Eziuche Ubani who stated that “Politics is not an enterprise. Politics is not a job. Politics is not an occupation. Politics is not a profession. Politics is a temporary opportunity to serve and make contribution towards the development of our society. Before the temporary opportunity of politics comes, you must have prepared and empowered yourself for it ahead of time. If you fail to prepare and empower yourself, when the opportunity comes, you won’t be able to make good use of it. Don’t ever make the mistake of thinking that politics is a job, any day you do, you have yourself to blame.”

Rt. Hon Emeka Stanley JP, Hon Ibe Nwoke Executive Chairman Obingwa LGA, Mr Enyinnaya Appolos, Representatives of the Nigeria Army, DSS who delivered an advisory lecture focused on the security of life and property advising the Youths to help the security Agencies secure our environment as major stakeholders in security issues.

They further advised Government to take the issues of Youth development and management very seriously as this will help reduce crime rate in our society.

Highlight of this event was the presentation of awards to the Executive Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, Hon Ibe Nwoke, Mr Enyinnaya Appolos, Rt. Hon Eziuche Ubani, Rt. Hon Emeka Stanley JP and Engr Smith Sylvanus for their excellent efforts in human capital development, selfless, hard work, commitment, and dedication in repositioning and Empowerment of every average Abia Youths.

The Major planners of this event include: Hon Arthur Ugboaja, Comr Chika Nwaokonko, Comr Emmanuel Akparanta, Comr Chibueze Anumadu among others.
