Mairogo and Tosso villages in Taraba state were reportedly invaded by foreign soldiers from Cameron without any intervention from the Nigerian government.

The foreign soldiers claimed that they are searching for their wanted citizens who they suspect fled into Nigeria following their calls for self-determination for Ambazonia.

The villagers claimed that not less than 60 foreign soldiers have made these regular searches and intimidated and harassed the locals.
