The founder/ Board of Trustees Chairman of Onuochi Foundation, Chief Damian Ozurumba has applauded the reconciliation initiative of the Peoples Democratic Party Gubernatorial flag bearer, Professor Uche Ikonne.

Chief Ozurumba made this known when Professor Ikonne paid him a visit in his Mbutu, Isiala Ngwa-South county home.

Ozurumba noted that Professor Ikonne has demonstrated Sterling qualities in leadership that will drive the much-needed development in Abia State, noting that his dream for a more prosperous Abia will be achieved through him.

Chief Ozurumba also asked his Onuochi Foundation as well as his supporters not to be discouraged, but should rather work with him in supporting Professor Ikonne whom he is optimistic will deliver good governance in the state.

Also speaking, the Traditional Ruler of Mbutu Amairinaisii Ancient Kingdom, Isiala Ngwa South, His Eminence, Eze P. N. Okpanku, hailed Professor Ikonne’s efforts to reunite with aggrieved members.
He thanked God for the gift of Professor Ikonne to Abia at this time, assuring him of their unalloyed support for his candidacy.

Earlier in his speech, the PDP gubernatorial candidate for Abia State, Professor Uche Ikonne said that, the reason for his visit to Chief Ozurumba is to the furtherance of his reconciliation initiative, to ensure that all aggrieved members of the party are reconciled.
He thanked Chief Ozurumba for accepting to partner in his vision of putting Abia on a faster lane of development.
