South East Young Leaders Consultative Forum Mobilises support for Sen. Godswill Obot Akpabio as Senate President.
In a statement by its coordinator Amb. Chinweuba Anyaragbu and Secretary General, Hon. Augustina Odor, the group described Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio (GOA) as an Ambassador of Youth Development, Unity, Progressive, a Bridge Builder, and an Outstanding Leader whom the cap of Senate President fits.
They further stated that Senator Akpabio demonstrated diligence, loyalty, competence capacity, and a very high sense of nationalism during his serving days as Governor of Akwa Ibom and Minister of NDDC respectively.
As a senator elected to represent the People of Akwa Ibom West for the second time at the Red Chamber, and as Minister for Niger Delta Affairs, his strides in human capacity building, youth empowerment, nation building, anti-corruption fighting, and national infrastructural development are second to none.
Senator Akpabio is our inlaw and a youth-friendly leader who has the interest of the Igbos at heart”.
The South East Young Leaders Consultative Forum is a registered Non-Governmental Association with a mandate to promote and protect the interests of Ndigbo youths.
The Group cuts across 95 Local Government Areas and all the villages in the South East Geo-Political Zone of the country.
The Ndigbo Youth Leaders call on all Ndigbo senators to support their in-law and selfless leader in the person of Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio as a Leader with the capacity to attract positive development to Igboland.
SEYLCF has set plans to mobilize its members and fellow Ndigbo compatriots for a massive campaign in support of Sen. Godswill Obot Akpabio as Senate President, the coalition has fixed the 14th of May 2023 as the date for a full campaign in support of Senator Godswill Akpabio and has promised to follow up on and propagate the achievements of the Akwa Ibom Senator while serving as Senate President.
