Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don lulu), has congratulated Professor Uche Ikonne on his emergence as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate for Abia State 2023 poll.

Chief Lucky, who was one of the aspirants for the PDP gubernatorial ticket, made this known when the gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in Abia State Professor Ikonne paid him a visit in his Umuawa-Alaocha Ohuhu country home.

In his Statement, “Let me congratulate His Excellency, Professor Uche Ikonne, for emerging the PDP flag bearer for the 2023 Abia gubernatorial election.
“ Ekwerem-ekwe Ka Uche Ndi Abia Mee. I urge all my supporters, our party members and Abians to rally support for the emergence of Prof. Ikonne as the Governor of Abia State, come 2023.”

Professor Ikonne commended Don Lulu for his sportsmanship, with a promise to partner with him in his vision to put Abia on a faster lane of development.

The DG Uche Ndi Abia Campaign, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Elechi, Director Media,Chief Uche Aguoru, Dr. Ehiemere, Prof. Dick Uduma, Prof. O.C Ahuama, Dr. Hagular Okorie, Pastor Ikoro Ihezuwa, among others accompanied Prof Ikonne to the visit.
