A Former Vice President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS),
Timileyin Ayenuro has raised the alarm that Nigerians are facing hardship and begged President Bola Tinubu to be responsive to the people’s sufferings.
Ayenuro, in a statement made available to newsmen in Akure, the Ondo state capital, criticized President Bola Tinubu for failing to fulfill his electioneering promises through his poor economic policies.
According to him, “it appears the president is clueless and should not hesitate to step down
If President Tinubu is sincere about Nigeria sincere development, he should directly supervise the Ministry of Power and focus on the permanent Solution to Nigeria’s Electricity.
With President Tinubu’s direct supervision, he should give more funds to guarantee stable Electricity in Nigeria and If he fails to do this, he should resign honorably.
The hardship in Nigeria is too much, Nigerians are really suffering because of Tinubu’s poor economic policies
” With President Tinubu in power, and he is not successful in giving Nigeria Stable Electricity at an expected time then he should honorably RESIGN”
Ayenuro pointed out that stable electricity is the bedrock for the success of other sectors most importantly Security, Education, Industries, and many more.
Ayenuro said that he will not yet make a final conclusion on President Tinubu’s ability to stabilize the country and provide expected development.
However, he has acknowledged that there are some possible ways for the President to take action.
The Youth leader asked President Tinubu to empower and support Made in Nigeria Products (Most especially Aba Production) to produce quality products instead of arresting them for illegal production.
He advised that amnesty should be granted to Nigerian producers and support them for massive production.
Ayenuro also asked President Tinubu to be strict with the offenders sabotaging our economy.
According to him, the top Business Class sabotaging our economy by hiding under the influence of power should be dealt with severely and if possible immediately serve capital punishment according to the laws without any recourse to corrupt Judiciary Practice.
He said “The Corrupt Legislators who are hiding under oversight functions and other duties using it to sabotage Nigeria’s Progress and development should not be spared of disciplinary action.
Ayenuro also said” Any Executive who is not productive after the expected productive period should resign. Any Executive who is being disturbed by corrupt civil servants should Speak up. Any Civil Servants who notice corrupt practices of the Executive should Speak up.
