The President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Amb. Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo on Tuesday met with the State Executive Council of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Abia State Chapter to resolve the conflict over the State Management Committee Meeting conducted in preparation for the forthcoming State Elective Congress.

The President received the Delegation led by the State Chairman Comr. Smith Sylvanus, the meeting was held to discuss the forthcoming election of the Council in the Abia State Chapter.

After listening to the brief from the State Executive Council Members, the 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐘𝐂𝐍, 𝐀𝐦𝐛 𝐒𝐮𝐤𝐮𝐛𝐨 directed the State Executive Council to go back and call a proper State Management Meeting with at least 14 days’ notice and within next 30 days.

𝐀𝐦𝐛 𝐒𝐮𝐤𝐮𝐛𝐨 also further stated that the State 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 remain in office until the Election is conducted and concluded in the State.

This decision was reached for the unity of the Council and all-inclusive Elections in the Abia State Chapter

He thanked them for their time and the valuable contributions made towards the success of the meeting and hope to continue working with them towards the betterment of the Nigerian Youth.
