At least two countries have qualified for the semi-final stage of the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina.

The two countries are Israel and Italy.

They advanced to the quarter-final stage on Saturday after beating Brazil and Colombia, respectively, in the quarter-final fixtures.

Israel defeated Brazil 3-2, while Italy won 3-1 against Colombia.

Meanwhile, Nigeria will face South Korea on Sunday evening in the other quarter-final fixture, while Uruguay will clash with the USA.

The winner in both fixtures will join Israel and Italy in the semi-final.

The semi-final fixtures will take place on Thursday.
