Why I am contesting For Abia Central Senate Col.Akobundu (rtd)

Col. Austin Akobundu (rtd) said he is vying for the position of the senator representing Abia central to elevate quality representation and bring dividends of democracy to his constituency.

The former National Organising Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) said he understands what is involved, he will give quality legislation as well as attract democracy dividends to Abia Central People and Abia state in General.

Speaking during the burial of Pa Ubani Nwokocha at Awomukwu Community in Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia state, Akobundu stated that he understands the rudiments of legislation and will not disappoint his people.

Commenting on what he achieved as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, disclosed,” I was minister of State for defense and I worked in conjunction with the Federal Authorities and the State Government to strengthen security apparatus in the state and by extension to my constituency”

He also made the people qualified and competent to consolidate and attract more dividends to his people.

He thank God for the life of Pa Ubani Nwokocha, said he died at a ripe age and that the children gave him a befitting burial.
